I think DH has a CED. It is tiny with a rechargable battery. It was expensive but got a good deal through reddotshooting.com. We both like that it will hold the last twelve runs in it so if you forgot to write a time down on the last shooter, it’s still in there. It also picks up .22s better than some of the others. I think the one I have that used to be DH’s is a Pact. It’s there just in case but rarely used. It’s not a bad timer but we really don’t need it. DH’s been talking about selling it and we never get around to it.

Oh, mac & cheese would hit the spot. We are gluten-free. I need to order some noodles. Thanks for reminding me. (And let’s not discuss the weight gained recently.)

Cricket and I have both been craving meatloaf. Since she is home right after school now, I could make it the night before and she could stick it in the oven to be ready about the time I get home. My recipe has a nice tangy gravy it makes.

For me that involves mac and cheese. Work has been a terror lately, and I gained 4 pounds over Christmas I worked hard to lose. What the heck. What’s another pound. I’m going to make homestyle mac and cheese today. I’ll put aside a plate in your honor and hope you have a better week.

mashed potaotes & gravy and green beans with meatloaf or pot roast. A beef stew with a beef instead of a tomato base is also good. For quick, a Dagwood salami sandwich with a bowl of Lipton Noodle soup with real chicken meat and a glass of milk.

I can relate. After 7 months I finally found a clothespin bag today. I sure the clerk at the hardware store thought I’d lost my mind. To say that I’m looking forward to doing laundry now is a bit of an overstatement, but . . .

Hi Michelle, Glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ours was quite with all the family over. Cause of my surgery I did not have to do any cooking. Britanie and Tim did the turkey, and Tara came over later and helped with the rest. Britanie did a wonderful job decorating the dinner table too.

Another expensive but fun hobby … sailing. Always something else you MUST have. The boat, no matter what size is just the start.

Mr WK is not a ham but he likes to monitor. He has an Icom IC-R75. We don’t have an outdoor antenna but have a long wire random length antenna about 75′ long in the attic. He enjoys listening to other hams talk about their shacks, antennas and equipment. Seems like there are always more interesting programs on the shortwave, too.
